As one of the world’s major suppliers of ‘timing equipment’, Timex is always on the search for innovation. Timex was looking for a way to generate quality leads in order to activate its sponsorships in running and Iron mans.
After great successes in Warsaw and Budapest, the Timex Ironman Facebook Tracker was nominated for a Facebook Award 2014. Timex International has now presented the app to all its offices, which included the development of a video and a manual. Finding the linking element between the brand, event and consumer within the sponsorships in order to generate interaction on an international scale.
In 2013, 2014 and 2015, sponsorships surrounding the marathons of Budapest, Warsaw, Hamburg, Niagara Falls, Mexico City, Liverpool, Dublin, Madrid, Tallinn and Gdynia were already activated with this online tool.
